Hyperinsulinemia. A link between hypertension, obesity and glucose intolerance.

Results of this study demonstrated that insulin resistance or hyperinsulinemia was present in a large proportion of hypertensive subjects and that it could constitute a common pathophysiologic feature of obesity, glucose intolerance and hypertension.
